WiFi, TV and Audio

WiFi: ThreeSistersLodgeGuestWiFi (no need for a password). 

The modem: Lives in the cabinet under the record player and is easily accessible if you need to switch it off and on. The TV will recognise the WiFi network in settings.

TV: The smart TV is connected to the wiFi, feel free to add your apps and don’t forget to log out when you leave. 

Audio: The record player is also Bluetooth enabled. Just turn the power dial and you should see BAUHN ARTTS-0321 discoverable from your device. Feel free to enjoy any of the supplied records.

We have lovely neighbours who live here full time and as such noise should not be audible outside the house from 9pm. We ask that amplified music is played through the provided stereo only. Please, no parties and no noise after 9pm.

Heating and cooling

The fire is set – just strike a match for a cosy night. You’ll find spare timber under the kitchen bench and, for your safety, there’s a fire screen plus a fire extinguisher and fire blanket. The smoke alarms are new and certified. Please always extinguish the fire when it’s not being watched.

The windows are original and can be delicate. They close with a screw mechanism for an air-tight seal; close the curtains/blinds for extra warmth. When the windows are open, please make sure the stopper is firmly in place (the breeze can be strong) and ensure you close the windows before leaving the house. Katoomba weather can change quickly!

The air conditioner is an effective heater, just set the mode to the ‘sun’ symbol before turning it on. There are wall mounted radiant heaters in the bedrooms; we recommend setting the thermostat to 21 degrees.
